Jason Kosloski, Esq.

Managing Member

Jason Kosloski is a highly skilled and accomplished trial attorney with extensive experience in both civil rights litigation and criminal defense. As the founder of Kosloski Law, PLLC, Jason is dedicated to holding government officials accountable for constitutional violations while also defending individuals facing the most serious criminal charges.

Before founding Kosloski Law, Jason served for over eight years with the Colorado State Public Defender, where he represented hundreds of clients in courtrooms across the state. He has tried approximately forty jury trials to verdict, securing wins in cases ranging from DUIs to first-degree murder, and litigated nearly every type of criminal matter, including homicides, sexual assaults, racketeering, large-scale drug conspiracies, and post-conviction ineffective assistance claims.

Today, Jason brings that same trial-tested experience to the civil side of the courtroom. He represents plaintiffs in Section 1983 and state constitutional claims against police officers, jails, and government entities, pursuing justice in cases involving excessive force, unlawful searches, jail misconduct, and systemic constitutional violations. His litigation style—strategic, relentless, and backed by deep trial experience—makes him a formidable advocate in both criminal and civil cases.

Jason’s courtroom expertise is complemented by his mastery of forensic evidence, technical investigations, and mental health defenses. Within the public defender system, he became a recognized subject matter expert in DNA litigation, frequently handling cases that turned on complex scientific and medical issues. He is also highly experienced in mental health litigation, including Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) defenses and competency challenges.

Clients and colleagues alike describe Jason as a relentless advocate with a reputation for strategic thinking, meticulous preparation, and fearless trial advocacy. He understands that a case is never “just a case”—it’s a client’s life, freedom, or constitutional rights on the line.

Jason earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he contributed to the Denver Law Review and Mock Trial, and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. He graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing) and a minor in History, while also competing as a forward on the Regis rugby team.

Outside the courtroom, Jason stays active in the gym and enjoys exploring Colorado’s mountains, balancing his demanding legal practice with a commitment to health and resilience.
